South Kaibab Trail

Grand Canyon National Park, AZ

Kim and I hiked the South Kaibab Trail of the Grand Canyon in Grand Canyon National Park from the rim to Cedar Ridge on Feb 14 2024. We wore our Yak-Trax as the first third of the hike was icy and the last two-thirds was muddy (with some ice). This is a beautiful winding trail that was our introduction into descending somewhat into the canyon. The trail was moderately busy with other people but we did not feel “crowded.” The views were awesome!!
